Most agencies run campaigns.
We build the system that books the job.

Website, ads, SEO, CRM and follow-up, built as one machine and measured on one number: what it costs you to put a booked job on the calendar.

AI & automation

The unfair advantage is not the AI. It's what you stop doing by hand.

Everyone is selling AI. Almost none of it shows up in how a service business actually runs a Tuesday. What does: a lead answered in ninety seconds at 9pm, a quote that follows itself up, a CRM that fills itself in, and being the company an AI assistant names when somebody asks who to call.

  • Instant lead response. Every form, call and message answered in minutes, around the clock, before your competitor gets to them.
  • Follow-up that does not stop. Sequences that keep working a quote for weeks, then hand it back to a human at the right moment.
  • Admin that runs itself. Job data, invoices, reviews and reporting moving between tools without anyone retyping it.
  • Visibility inside AI answers. Structured, citable content so ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can name you accurately.

What is a marketing system, and why does it beat running campaigns?

A marketing system connects the website, advertising, SEO, CRM and follow-up into one tracked path from first click to booked job. Campaigns generate traffic. A system makes sure that traffic is answered, followed up and measured, so you can see exactly what a booked job costs you.

How do you measure whether marketing is working?

Three numbers, reported monthly: cost per lead, cost per issued appointment, and marketing as a percentage of net sales. Impressions, clicks, likes and rankings are diagnostics, not results. If the cost of a booked job is not moving in the right direction, the marketing is not working.

How it works

We fix the leaks before we turn up the tap

Spending more on advertising into a site that does not convert and a follow-up process that forgets people is the most expensive mistake in this industry.

  1. Audit

We look at everything: site, ads, SEO, CRM, call handling, follow-up. You get a written summary of where money is leaking, whether or not you hire us.

  2. Fix the leaks first

Most businesses do not need more traffic. They need the traffic they already pay for to convert. That work comes before we increase spend.

  3. Build the system

Website, campaigns, CRM and automation set up as one connected system, with tracking that ties a dollar spent to a job booked.

  4. Report on what matters

Cost per lead, cost per issued appointment, cost of net sales. Every month, in plain language, with what we are changing next.

Questions people ask before they call

What does Marketing & Technology actually do?

We build and run complete lead generation systems for service businesses: the website, the ads, the SEO, the CRM, and the automation that follows up. We also handle the technology underneath it — phones, workspace, security — so leads do not get lost between tools.

How much does it cost to work with you?

Most engagements sit between $1,500 and $6,000 per month depending on scope, plus ad spend. One-off projects like a website build or a CRM implementation are quoted separately. Published ranges are on our pricing page — we do not hide numbers until a sales call.

Do you only work with contractors and trades?

That is where we are strongest, because of a decade of hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, flooring and renovations. We also work with health services and hospitality operators. If your business runs on booked appointments, the system is the same.

How long before we see results?

Paid advertising can produce enquiries in the first week. Conversion and follow-up fixes usually show within 30 days. Organic search and AI visibility are slower — expect a few months before the movement is meaningful, and treat anyone promising faster as guessing.

Do you work outside Hamilton?

Yes. We are based in Hamilton and work across Burlington, Oakville, Grimsby, Niagara and the wider Golden Horseshoe, plus clients elsewhere in Canada. Local presence matters for local SEO; it does not limit who we can build systems for.

What happens to my existing website and tools?

We audit before we replace. If your site converts and your CRM works, we improve them. If they are the reason leads are leaking, we say so and show you the evidence. We do not rebuild things for the sake of billing a rebuild.

Find out what your marketing is actually costing you.

A free audit of your website, ads, SEO and follow-up. You get a written summary of what is working, what is leaking money, and what to fix first. No pitch deck, no obligation.
